Japanese Judo Program
Basic Class
Learn and practice the techniques of judo, experience the atmosphere by actually wearing judo uniforms, and learn about the samurai “侍” spirit of Japanese people.

Message:
The reason I started practicing judo was that both of my parents were judo athletes, and their influence led me to begin judo at the age of three. During high school and university, I was a member of the team, achieving several national-level awards. However, I was unable to achieve the results I hoped for in individual competitions. When I thought, “I’m done with judo,” an opportunity arose during a university practicum to teach judo overseas. There, judo instructors who observed my teaching encouraged me to pursue a career as a coach. This inspired me to make the decision to become a judo instructor. In April 2024, I began working as a coach for the judo team at Shutoku Junior and Senior High School in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo. Later, in November 2024, I founded WPJ (WORLD PERSONAL JUDO). Through WPJ, I aim to share Japanese judo with a broader audience, increase demand for the declining Japanese judo culture, and expand opportunities for Japanese judoka to thrive. Rather than focusing solely on judo as a sport, my goal is to promote judo as a way of life to the world.
